چکیده
The spin Seebeck effect (SSE) refers to the generation of a current as result temperature gradient in magnetic material, which can be detected electrically via inverse Hall metallic contact. Since discovery SSE 2008, intensive studies on have been conducted elucidate its origin. SSEs appear wide range materials including ferro-, ferri-, and antiferro-magnets also paramagnets with classical or quantum fluctuation. voltage reflects fundamental properties magnet, such elementary excitation, static order, correlation, transport. In this article, we review recent progress various systems, particular emphasis emerging role probe these solids. We briefly discuss recently-discovered nuclear SSE.

Antiferromagnetic Spin Seebeck Effect.
We report on the observation of the spin Seebeck effect in antiferromagnetic MnF_{2}. A device scale on-chip heater is deposited on a bilayer of MnF_{2} (110) (30 nm)/Pt (4 nm) grown by molecular beam epitaxy on a MgF_{2} (110) substrate. Using Pt as a spin detector layer, it is possible to measure the thermally generated spin current from MnF_{2} through the inverse spin Hall effect. The low ...
متن کاملSpin Seebeck effect and thermoelectric phenomena in superconducting hybrids with magnetic textures or spin-orbit coupling
We theoretically consider the spin Seebeck effect, the charge Seebeck coefficient, and the thermoelectric figure of merit in superconducting hybrid structures including either magnetic textures or intrinsic spin-orbit coupling. We demonstrate that large magnitudes for all these quantities are obtainable in Josephson-based systems with either zero or a small externally applied magnetic field. Th...

متن کاملMagnetic field control of the spin Seebeck effect
The origin of the suppression of the longitudinal spin Seebeck effect by applied magnetic fields is studied. We perform numerical simulations of the stochastic Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation of motion for an atomistic spin model and calculate the magnon accumulation in linear temperature gradients for different strengths of applied magnetic fields and different length scales of the temperatur...
متن کاملThermal effect and role of entanglement and coherence on excitation transfer in a spin chain
We analyze the role of bath temperature, coherence and entanglement on excitation transfer in a spin chain induced by the environment. In Markovian regime, we show that coherence and entanglement are very sensitive to bath temperature and vanish in time in contrary to the case of having zero-temperature bath. That is while, finding the last qubit of the chain in excited state increases by incre...
